This 4-star hotel on the eastern edge of Bernried on Lake Starnberg is set in a 5-hectare parkland area, just a 40-minute drive from Munich. Location. I love water. Swam in the Lake. Room was large, comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and nice view of lake I wish I had booked 2 nights Very very nice. I would definitely come again. I loved it!

Excellent breakfast, but we were a bit taken aback by the German reality of free days, where Tuesday and Wednesday were "Ruhe Tage".
